Everyone knows that the better the ingredients you start with, the better the end product. It’s also important not to skimp: A lot of water and a few vegetables doesn’t make very tasty, nourishing or delicious broth. We source high quality ingredients and pile on the good stuff, and it shows!

Bone Broth: It’s about the bones, plain and simple.

The more bones, the better the flavor. We simmer six pounds of organic, grass-fed and finished beef bones to every gallon of stock. More bones mean more protein and more collagen for delicious mouthfeel. Our bones are coming exclusively from Pacific Northwest family farms that meet our standards for quality.

Certified Organic Vegetables, Herbs and Spices

Let’s be honest, we make broth. Pretty vegetables don’t matter. Nutritious, clean, fresh, certified organic vegetables matter, but pretty doesn’t. We source cosmetically imperfect product, hoping to help with America’s food waste problem. Often times, the farmer can’t sell these “#2s” and they are left in the field to rot. We are happy to do our part to help farmers sell 100% of their produce they grow.

We are proud to be certified organic by Oregon Tilth. All of our ingredients are also GMO free, in fact, did you know that when you purchase products that are certified organic, that also means they are GMO free? Yup!

What does FODMAP mean?? Great question, and unless you suffer from SIBO, IBS or other functional gastrointestinal disorders, chances are you have never heard of it. FODMAP is an acronym, derived from Fermentable, Oligo-, Di-, Mono-saccharides And Polyols. (WOW! Thank you Wikipedia) For some people, garlic and onions causes major belly aches or worse – no good. So, while we offer our Cauldron Traditional Bone Broths that DO contain garlic and onions, we have also mastered a wonderful blend of Low-FODMAP ingredients to make a line of delicious bone broths especially for those who need it.
